Trying to break it down...
These ideas span all game eras
-Possible heroes: All the known sentinels, Lt. Cartrwright, Rachel Parker, James Grayson, Dr. Malikov (?)
-Structures: Defense Perimeters, Barracks, SRPA stations
-Vehicles: LU-P Lynx, VTOLs (atlas, hawk, skyfisher), Jf-86 Sabre jets,M12 Sabertooth, M35 Transport truck, "transport plane" cargo plane (serves same purpose as chimeran "buzzard" dropship)
-Units: military soldiers, black-ops, sentinels,
commandeer-steal a chimeran vehicle
-Possible heroes: Daedalus, Angels, Chrysalis
-Structures: Conversion centers, Chimeran towers, Factories
-Vehicles: Chimeran warship, Chimeran Shuttle, Burrower, Stalkers (normal and predator) "Buzzard" dropship, Hammer, Marauder (to carry supplies?), Spires (for crawlers and spinners?)
-Units: Hybrids (many variations/upgrades), howlers, gray jacks, hags,drones (patrol,hunter, attack, shock, shield), menials(building units?), steelheads, Chameleons, boilders, Grims, Titans, Brawlers, Leapers (spitter and roller upgrades), widowmakers, marauders (?)
-Other machinery: AA turrets, hellfire turrets, mines, sentry guns
Leaper pods/grim nests-Proximity Mines that spawn small units of leapers/grims
Chimeran rage-temporary damage boost at the cost of less health
1.Could there be a way (maybe only in campaign) to distinguish between primarch and overseer units? Possibly stars above the head as in R2?
2.Where would the bosses fit? Could enemies like the Leviathan be stopped? Maybe they would only be in the possible campaign?
3.Chimeran Earth Movers can be used as a building animation? Same with Spires?
4. How would slipskulls be used? Could they just be a building upgrade to allow buildings to fight back?
5. Could the Cloven somehow fit in?
6. The terraformer will not be a possible weapon. Seriously.
Wow, there sure are a lot of chimeran units...the humans would need some significant bonuses. Could take the easy route and say only humans are playable, but i know everyone would want to command chimeran armies. Could make a much deeper experience if it was just humans though...any ideas to balance the teams?
maybe by removing heroes from the Chimera...?
